Who we are
December 10th, 2006A brief history – how we started.
Liberty 4 Africa (L4A) was established in February 2nd 2002 in warri (Oil City), Delta State Nigeria. And the organization was founded by Mr. Aghogho Careca Akarue and with special collaboration with Mr. Chinedu Chukwuelue in its organization activities.
The birth of Liberty 4 Africa began after I watched a program on television (cable). The program highlighted and deliberated the effects of Aids and child exploitation in Africa and the program was inside Africa presented by Timu Makagbu of CNN.
Today
Liberty 4 Africa (L4A) is an international NGO, non-profit organization in Africa- Nigeria.L4A was established in February 2nd 2002, and register at the Co-Operate Affairs Commission Abuja Nigeria.
Our Liberty 4 Africa main area of focus or interest; an indication of three thematic area and special focus under the thematic area –
Research, Education/Awareness Creation, Youth Development, Health - HIV/AIDS, primary healthcare/immunization &Adolescent Health.
Education/Awareness Creation - skill acquisition/vocational training & early childcare education.
Youth Development. - Youth participation /empowerment, skills acquisition and youth mobilization for peace building and conflict Resolution and Sustainble Develeopment.

But our challenge at this stage is to seize the opportunity, to take the risk, to realize an innovative, new, rewarding and productive future for Africa. Undaunted, L4A is an organization committed to excellence, with a clear vision and a passion for delivering outstanding results. We ask you to work with us to capitalize on our growth and strengths.
Target Benefiticiaries:
The target beneficiaries of Liberty 4 Africa (L4A) activities: young people within the age brackets of 15-45 yrs and this happens to be country’s working population.
Meet our staff
Liberty 4 Africa (L4A) has a workforce of 80 members, 6 employers, 2 paid staff, 7 voluntary staff and 20 online volunteers.
