Presently Liberty 4 Africa is planning to open a Vocational Training and Sustainable Development Centre in the city of Warri, Nigeria.

One of our major youth projects for 2008 is a Youth Development Project. 
 
We aim to establish a Vocational Training and Sustainable Development Centre for the unemployed and unskilled youth of Warri where they will be sponsored to take part in vocational training in subjects such as: - 

• Online IT and Professional Development Courses
• Career and Life Skills Program.
• Resourcefulness, Entrepreneurship and Development.
• Professional Development Skills /Instructional Design Program.

Our aim is to educate young people out of a spiral of violence and crime to engage them in being responsible members of the community and the Global Society. 
Our organization is in heartbeat of the State, where the people aught to be enjoy the richest of life with the rich natural resources (OIL) and this has cause many troubles. Some tribes and youths have found themselves as instruments for destruction by corrupt rich individuals.

The times have change the youths are finding themselves back to reality of life and seeing there are other sectors to success; than the Oil sector. And they have a new mindset now towards business and IT and with this understanding if they well empowered they will impart positively their communities and the global society. That is why our challenge this season to see that they are empowered for productive living.

This center will help to empower the young people, and in the word “young” there is a word you; so literally speaking you (people) as well will be empowered, because as you pour into the lives of others you are also helped inside.

We are excited about the initiative of our partner organisation in the US and to be able to provide- E-Skills360” e-learning platform to equip the workforce with 21st century employability skills:

So that it is ready to compete in the global economy, attracting corporate investment into the local economy by cultivating a well-trained workforce base from which multi-national and local companies can hire employees.

E-skill 360 is one of our major focus is in this proposed centre. The Initiative is a joint collaboration between Liberty 4 Africa (L4A) and International Commission on Workforce Development (ICWFD), USA. Throughout the project, professional guidance and expertise will be provided by, Liberty 4 Africa (L4A) and International Commission on Workforce Development (ICWFD), USA. (See www.icwfd.org).

ICWFD has made it possible to access the same IT and Professional Development courses and training through e-learning that cost US$100 to US$540 each at just US$7.5 (N876). There is certainly no other organization making such a broad portfolio of job-skills training. Once courses are sponsored and pre-funded, they are given free to end-users  One thing that is certain is funds. Money is need to run the Vocational Training and Sustainable Development Centre, but the first things is the passion for this project and now the passion and zeal is there, likewise the required technical know how is very important. That why we are partnering with your organization and others as well. 

The proposal in addition includes information on set up costs for the center such as premises rental, desks, computers, Internet connection, chairs, and generators (required because Warri has only intermittent power supply) we have budget for two years running costs, which includes the salaries of teachers, electricity, development costs and other logistics.

Please we need to be united in one mind to achieve this goals, I want to hear from you as regards how we can execute this plan.

As regards this center activity, we need relevant information from your organization to solidify the center. And also other useful resources as regards us get support as we need your experience on this project and we see a productive future.

I see this partnership as an integration that will put smile on many people and help them fulfil their destiny on earth.
